1. it's the most wonderful time of the year., 2. glassjars, 3. Christmas Vignette , 4. christmas lights
Bonsoir mes chères!
Today was a bittterly cold snowy day that was spent in Bruges (on work business). I won't complain, there are worse places to spend a snowy day. Bruges was all fairytale like and pretty as a cupcake. Sadly (for ya'll) I didn't get to take any photos though, because it was so cold that I just didn't want to torture myself with being outside longer than was striclty needed.
Sitting by the window in a café, watching the snowflakes twirl down, the lights in the pine trees on the market place, the snowy rooftops and enjoying a cup of tea was far more pleasurable.
Don't you agree?
Above are some pretty fantastic ideas for Christmas decor at home:
1. if you don't like pine trees (they do loose their needles which does require a lot of cleaning, which can be totally annoying) use a bouquet of random tree branches collected from the garden or park instead.
2. make your own christmas balls by wrapping scraps of pretty fabric around paper or polyutherane balls (oh, and add pretty ribbon, that is obvious).
3. if you don't like trees at all, fill some vintage glass jars with christmas decorations. looks really pretty on the coffee or side table.
4. upgrade your regular christmas lights by adding paper doilies! we will surely try this at home.
Bisous,
Isis
