Hello dear friends!
As I was drinking a cup of mandarin green tea this morning, in our sunshed dining room, I had this feeling that it is about getting time again to do some serious Spring cleaning around the house. As this is not one of my personal favorite housekeeping tasks, I thought I might help to find some inspiration first.

I am convinced that dusting and cleaning gets better and better as you surround yourself with beautifull cleaning utensils. On my personal wishlist I have: 1) a merino duster, 2) a feather duster, 3) pretty metal or rubber buckets, 4) linnen water. I am the proud owner of a leather fly swatter, and a metal and wood dustpan and brush set since a couple of weeks.
My favorite places to shop for cleaning utensils are the Dutch shop Dille & Kamille, (sadly they don't have an online shop yet), the German shop Manufactum, and the Danish shop Hay. I also love MUJI for basic housekeeping props.

This weekend I will put on my apron, get out my brushes and brooms, towels and cloths and the vacuumcleener, and hopefully succeed in the task I set myself :) If I do, I'll reward myself with a whole pot of black tea, and more cakes than can ever be healthy for any living being.
Are you doing some spring cleening soon?
